Melissa & Steve

So last Saturday was the wedding of Melissa & Steve. They got married in the Methodist Church that my daughter goes to school in and had a reception at the Harbor Club in Halesite. It's always nice to shoot local weddings, and we had plenty of time between the Ceremony and Reception to drive over to Cold Spring Harbor park and shoot some fun group shots..

The Groomsman on the far right happened to be this flower girl's father! She did a great job walking down the aisle on her own but the real photo opp came when she saw her daddy - her face lit up and she sprinted toward him!

This Ring Bearer was more interested in what was happening at the back of the Church than the Bride & Groom!

Leaving the Church with a bubble send off! It's a lot nicer than having bird seed down your neck for the rest of the day and much easier to clean up too!

This is the type of group shot we love to do - everyone is relaxed, looking good and enjoying themselves. I particularly like the Bridesmaid on the far left with her casual stance leaning on the Groomsman! As good as this type of shot is, sometimes the best angle is from behind......

..this couple were camped out on their beach chairs soaking up the sun and enjoying the show!!

And the last one is one of my favorites - the Bride was pretty creative when it came to helping us set up shots and wasn't afraid to ask her Bridal Party to cooperate. Here she told the Groomsmen (and her Husband) to climb up a tree for an impromptu group shot with the guys!
